Get to know Stacie Sines, Human Resources Director
Before you came to Eureka, what other jobs did you have?
Prior to joining Eureka my career was in Real Estate working for Development companies. Most recently I was a Regional Operations Manager and prior to that I was a Marketing Director.
What will be your responsibilities now that you have joined Eureka?
My responsibilities at Eureka will be as a Human Resources Administrator overseeing all aspects of human resources. I also look forward to working with businesses in the community to help grow Eureka's community engagement.
You will be directing Eureka's Human Resources Department, what are your goals
Fortunately, Eureka has a great culture that has been developed over the years. One of my goals will be to cultivate this even further by strengthening employee engagement as well as developing an achievement planning process. I will also be working to develop a new employee onboarding process as well as organize and update policies and procedures.
Tell us a little about yourself outside of work.
I was born and raised in LaSalle and moved back to the area 2 years ago after living downtown Chicago for 20 years. Outside of work I enjoy staying active, spending time with family and friends, traveling and attending sporting events (my nephews and niece as well as professional).
What kind of advice would you give to a recent college graduate?
Doing something that you enjoy will always feel more like an exciting challenge than a "job". Choosing a company with strong leadership, values and a culture that you fit into is the most important part of your career search.
