Our Mobile App is getting a Makeover!

Do I need to do anything?

You will need to update by March 6th to continue using the app.  You will need to re-establish your card preferences in the updated app if you use our card controls feature.  More details below.

Will there be any service interruption?

There should be no interruption to your banking services.  If you do experience any issues, please contact your local branch.

What is changing?

Our mobile app is getting a fresh new look, and we are introducing some features that have previously only been available in the browser, such as the ability to change your username and password or open a new account.  We’ve added some extra functions too, for example you will now be able to make principal only payments to your mortgage within the app and see routing and account numbers. 

Our card control services are also being improved; this does mean that you will need to create your card controls again once you have updated your app to the new version.  Card Controls in the current version of our app will stop working on March 4th, to continue using this feature you will need to update your app and then re-establish your preferences.

The complete list of features that will be no longer available are:

  • Appointment Scheduler
  • Digital Receipts
  • Financial Calculators
  • Locations (FREE Bing Service)
  • Mobile Wallet (this will be within our new Card Controls)
  • Passcode - the 4-digit passcode that could be used to log into our current 5.0 app is not supported in the new update. Customers can fall back to the iPhone Passcode to log in by disabling biometrics with the 6.0 update. However, Android phones will not have that fall back capability.
  • Text Banking:  Text only banking will be shut off on the April 14th 2025.

New features coming in 2025:

Removing rarely used features allows for future developments.  For example, we hope to add e-statements soon and better functionality for our business customers.

Other information:

Please note, if you do not see the app in the app store (from March 4th) it is likely that your phone is no longer supported by the phone’s manufacturer which means it will be unable to run the Eureka Savings Bank app moving forward.  You will still be able to access your online banking by using a browser but would need to update your device in order to use the app.
