Before Eureka, what other jobs did you have?
I started working at a local computer shop during high school and was there for two and a half years. In 2018, I started working in banking at a local bank as a teller and was there until early 2021. In February 2021, I started working at Eureka as an Universal Banker.
What are your responsibilities at Eureka?
My daily responsibilities involve opening new accounts, creating debit cards, answering incoming phone calls and resolving customer inquiries, and help customers get enrolled with our online banking services. I sometimes help out on the teller line.
Tell us a little about yourself outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my guinea pig Napoleon. When the weather is nice, I enjoy hiking at Starved Rock and biking along the I&M canal trail. I spend a lot of time on technology projects ranging from building computers to creating home automation tasks. Other hobbies I have include playing guitar and playing retro video games.
What kind of advice would you have for a soon to be college graduate?
Never stop learning! Education doesn't have to end after graduating.
